The dark sandy base contrasts with the light-colored shell. Sanise, known for transforming simple finds into lasting works, preserved this moment of the shoreline’s stillness in her Coronado studio. The sculpture is coated in durable, UV-resistant, crack-proof, and waterproof epoxy resin, made to last without yellowing or damage.
